Can I use 74hc595 instead of tpic6b595?

Please help me.

Hi,hassan1980
No,you can't.because tpic6b595 can offer current at 80ma,but 74hc595 only 20ma.moreover,74hc595 has 16 pins,but tpic6b595 has 20 pins(2 pins are not used).
