Half-Rate Phase Detector Gain?

How to calculate phase detector gain for half-rate topology? It based on Jafar Savoj & Razavi. On that paper, Jafar mentioned that gain of phase detector can be determined by the value of resistor, R1 and current source of XOR. There is any formula to calculate it ?
