How to connect JDM programmer to the parallel port

Hi

I need to conect a JDM programmer in the parallel port, i try with Ic-prog but only have the option with serial port. Is possible?

Somobody knows what can i do?

Other software?

JDM programmer works only on serial port!!!

I think the same but take a look the diagram, the number in the labels is the pin of parallel port, and in the right i put the pins for serial ports.

Originaly the JDM was made for parallel port, see this link.

JDM is definitely for serial port.

RS232 connectors come in 2 types: 25-pin and 9-pin. What you see in the labels is for the 25-pin RS232 connector, and what you see in the skinny box is for the 9-pin RS232 connector.

Pin number are for connector with 25 pins, but serial (male). See this page:
