hi,
to start with microprocessors, these are the good books(considered to be good by many people)
1. for 8085, Ramesh Goankar
2. for 8086/x86 architecture, D.V.Hall is excellent
3. B.B.Brey is also very good, but a bit difficult.
if you wanna study the Mps from 80386 onwards, better to go for the intel manuals, they are ultimate.
just leave the marketing jargons! :)
