simuation of ADC characteristics

hello all,

i have designed a 10 bit ADC and i would like to simulate the major ADC characteristics.....but my knowledge in simulation of ADC characteristics is quite limited.......the characteristics i want to measure are the following:

1-DNL
2-INL
3-input offset voltage
4-Total Harmonic Distortion
5-Spurious Free Dynamic Range
6-Signal to Noise Ratio
7-Signal to (Noise+Distortion) Ratio

any ideas on how i can accomplish this in cadence or matlab is appreciated

you can do it throught the cadence setup.
for the frequency related,u have to do the DFT first ,adn then u can find the SFDR,SNR values.
and u can do the inl and dnl in the transioent analysis.

i am currently storing the digital output codes and the input signal level for every sample......i am running a transient analysis with a ramp signal.

now that i have the data stored in a file i export to Matlab, and plot the ADC transfer characteristic....but how do i find the INL and DNL?

and where do i do the DFT...in cadence or matlab and on which signal exactly

do u have any documents on the issue
