hey all,

this is my first time using this forum to search somethin so please dont disappoint me..:) i wud be grateful if some body can provide me the users manual of Path loss 4.0

Can someone give me a detailed example of a microwave link planning in pathloss

It depends on what link do you design. Simple line-of-sight link may be designed with Friis formula alone, but if you need to consider more factors like rain loss, multipath and so on, you need additional tools. May be even channel modeling. All these information available in books.

B. Sklar's book "Digital Communications" is a good place to start for link calculation examples.

If that one does not work for you there are many others.
