amd 64 3700+ (754), 1 to 2 GB memory
amd 64 3700+ (939), 1 to 2 GB memory (dual channel)

when runing eda tools like cadence ic, do you think the later will have significant improvement due to dual channel?

According to tests done by some hardware sites, it makes no significant (less than 5%) differences between single and dual channel DRAMs.
