Who Should Use This Manual

This manual is intended for control engineers and technicians who are
installing, configuring, and maintaining a ControlLogix, PLC-5, or
SLC 500 based control system that links a DeviceNet network to a
ControlNet network using a 1788-CN2DN linking device.
We assume you have a good understanding of ControlNet and
DeviceNet, as well as familiarity with RSNetWorx software and
application programming using RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, or
RSLogix 5000 software.
