hi!

i want to design a temperature sensor with digital input to control the slope or sensitivity ? Anyway to do it? Actually what parameter control the slope of linear
temperature sensor? TX

Re: temperature sensor

Hi surianova,

The parameters on which the sensitivity depends from sensor to sensor.

Like if i am using Platinum RTD the sensitivity depends on the input constant current to the resistance (RTD). Sensitivitycan be increased by increasing input current or resistance.

If we want a general control then varing the gain of the amplifier in series is the best solution. digital control of gain is possible using programmable gain amplifiers from maxim **broken link removed**

when the signal strength is low choose higher gain and lesser gain when signal strength is more which can be controlled digitally.
