convert binary to bcd vhdl

Hi there,

please advice on how is the most effective way to change 8-bits binary no. to BCD by using VHDL.

You have several ways,.

If you need high speed perhaps you can a rom and if you need low gate count and dont care about speed you can use a FSM.
