Can anybody tell me some good books about embedded system?

Hi,
Currently I'm designing an embedded SoC with several guys; however i'm not very familiar with embedded software development. Thereby i'd like to have good reommendations on books about this?

You can search the e-book download section here for many useful books on embedded systems. You may want to specify a microcontroller to work with (8051, PIC, HC08, ....) and the language you intend to program with (Assembly, C, basic, ...).

Yes, you saied right!

I searched the e-book section before; however there're a lot of books about embedded software development about various MCU and i have no idea which ones are better suited for my current project.

I'm now implementing such a system with 8051 and C.

Can you give me some suggestions?

hai,
for begineers i think u should be good enough with 8051 microcontroller
i will strongly recommend 'the 8051 microcontroller and embedded systems' by mazidi and mazidi.
