I want to understand RUIM ( Removable User Identity Module) in detail.

Is RUIM similar to SIM card in GSM?
What information does RUIM hold?
Is RUIM portable?
Can I provision RUIM over the air?
What kind of information can be provisioned?

Does anyone have an ebook or papers on RUIM ?
