hi everybody,
i am a mechanical engineering student doing a project on demining robots.
i need some electronics related help. i want a metal detector which will give me some more information regarding the object detected . i serched on the net and found some concepts like EMI. EIT etc. but there setup is too large or complex.
does someone know about any other techniques which would give information regarding other properties like size, shape ,metal constitution etc. say some simple imaging technique (for buried objects!). it should not be too expensive to construct.
thank you
subo
