Relay booster

**broken link removed**

This is 12V relay booster can I still used it on 5V relay. Is there a components need to be changed here?

THANK YOU

Re: Relay booster

This circuit should work on 5 V relays if you put 5 V power where it now says 12 V.

Re: Relay booster

While selecting a 5V relay pay attention to the coil resistance.
As a switch this transistor, the 2N3904 that is, can carry about 100mA, so the coil resistance should be >50Ω .. otherwise, use 2N2222, BD135 or similar ..
