te01 mode

hi all
i'm simulating a circular waveguide using hfss that has a T slot in order to generate a circular polarized wave. However I need 2 excitations that can excite both slots. I'm thinking of using TE01 and TM01 mode to do so. However i have read that it is nearly impossible to propogate a TE01 mode in a circular waveguide.
Is there any suggestion on other ways to achieve circular polarization in a circular waveguide?

circular waveguide modes

you may try a coaxial type waveguide: a cylinder and metalic pin inside. Such a waveguide supports much more differerent modes. you can propagate a TE mode inside such a waveguide.

You can polarize only nonsymmetry modes (like a dipole TE11 or TM11)
One of the most efficient and broadband type of circular polarizer is
so-called elliptical polarizer. See the details in attachment...
