voltage swing

for example, Assume that some amp's common output voltage is Vdd/2 .

Since this amp just have common output voltage at Vdd/2, Is this amp can be considered to have maximum output swing?

how I can measure differential amp's output swing?

I have to configure voltage buffer with differential amp?

thanks

output voltage swing

In simple terms, theoutput voltage swing is the range of voltage that an opamp phisically provide at its output.
For example, for a load >2K, the 741 can swing to within about 2 volts of the supply (+/-15V).
Op-amps with MOS transistor outputs(CA3130 and CA3160) can swing all the way to positive and negative supply voltages.
If you apply higher voltage to the (+) input than to the (-) input, the output will swing to +V - something1, if you reverse inputs, the output will swing to -V+something2. The difference between something1 and something2 will be the output voltage swing..
