sending email using mc35i gprs
Do you want to send email or SMS. Both involve drastically different methods. Can you tell me more about your application. Have you connected the the MC35i terminal to a PC or to some other controller. Are you using GPRS or GSM.

When you change the modem, are you sure you configured the new modem with proper initialization commands. Since SMS can operate in both Text and PDU modes and these AT command are the expension of basic commands, they may have some minute difference between the 2 modems. Have a look at the detailed command set of mc35 to see if you are using it porperly and the mode is set to text mode.
