homemade diode layers

Hello Sinatra,

A long time ago there was a book series from the "Semiconductor electronics Education Commitee" (or something like that).
In the first or second volume there is a lab experiment to make a diode using common equipment (they give the address were to buy samples of raw material).
I have the book, but is in spanish and I`m moving, so it would be a bit difficult to find it.
If it is not too late, and you cannot find the book, please tell me and I`ll see what can do.

Hope this helps and best regards!

Of couse that is posibile.
In old tv-s are highvoltage diodes made as with many parts of small selenoid
disks which are semiconductors, maby is posibile ude this disks to make
homemade transistor.
Another thing is cooper oxid which is also semiconductor to.
