Hello everybody!!!

I need your help, the problem is how to do hand-calculation of return loss S11, I got simulated result of S11 Using ADS. but I need to do hand-calculation to compare each other. please help me!!!

Thank you so much for your help and time.

First of all, Thank you for your help

Can you gimme equation of that circuit?

Hi
S11 is equal to (Zin-Rs)/(Zin+Rs) where Rs is the input source resistance. I can't give you the equations, you have to do it for yourself :).

Thank you so much for your best information

Input impedance to 50 Ohm then annulling the capacitance impact of M5 and M7 another elements are optimized. Using the abowe circuit, the analysis of the input return loss (S11) of the input matching network is given in Equation

XA=[(S^2LACARA+SLA)/(S^2LACA+SCARA+1)]
Zin=XA+R1
S11=(Zin-Z0)/(Zin+Z0)

where Z0=50 Ohm and Zin is the total impedance of the matching network.

is it correct
