ADE-XL(GXL) and ADE-Explorer(called as Maestro) are available in IC6 Virtuoso of Cadence.

Optimizer is available only in ADE-GXL.

However monte-calro environment is available in both ADE-XL(GXL) and ADE-Explorer(called as Maestro).

Which do you use ?

Hi Pancho. Never heard about the second one. What's the difference to the adexl?

Regarding the optomizer, first time I hear that the adexl has an optimizer.

Where can I find it?

Basically, both ADE-XL and ADE-Explorer are controled by Ocean-XL.

ADE-Explorer utilizes RAM-Disk for quick multiple simulations, e.g.. tune-analysis.

From point of user level, there is no difference between ADE-XL and ADE-GXL.
They are simply different regarding required license.

Where can I find it?
What do you want to mean ?
