An Inverter has the following voltage:
vB (wt) = 100 sin wt +33 sin 3 wt + 20 sin 5 wt + 14 sin 7 wt + ....
Design 1 piece of filter on the output side of ac inverter, where the filter consists of inductor (mounted series to inverter output and a R) and capacitor (parallel to R). determine the value of cut-off frequency, L value, C value and calculate the damped current of 50 hz

Hi,

vB (wt) = 100 sin wt +33 sin 3 wt + 20 sin 5 wt + 14 sin 7 wt + ....
Why don´t you say "square wave" output?

I see no filter (attenuation) specification, so I think you are free to choose values.

But calculate the 50Hz according your chosen values.

If L is too large, it has the effect of restricting AC current. It reduces V to the load.
If L or C is too small, it has meager effect on the square wave.
