fatal: sdf files require xilinx primitive library

hi all...
i am using ISE WebPack alongwith ModelSim 5.3 The problem is when i simulate my functional VHDL model it works fine but When I go to Post Place n Route VHDL model then i receive the following error

Fatal: ERROR: SDF files require Xilinx primitive library

I searched in the Xilinx answer database also. But i cud not get the correct solution. Anyway i cud not completely follow what was written in the answer database. If anyone has faced this problem or can help me out in any way then please suggest. Thanx in advance.

Have you compiled Xilinx libraries for ModelSim?

I remember something similar. Be default, ModelSim doesn't 'understand' Xilinx primitives. You have to invoke a command-line tool. Let me check...
