Hello guys,

I need to implement in my design a watchdog similar to this part:TPS386000RGPR.

The problem of the previous watchdog is that it does not have a watdogEnable Input to enable the countdown whenever I want. And 450ms it is not enough to the the first refresh. I need to control the watchdog reset in anyway and I would like to find somthing like this other part: STWD100. But it is not possible to sense voltages and do a manual reset with this last part...

Any idea?

Thanks.

Hi flote21,

maybe you can check out the CAT1832, which allows longer time periods. If you can't find the IC matching the number of voltages to supervise you can also use a simple monoflop with an reset input to do the watchdog function.

Enjoy your design work!
