Hi everyone,

Say that you have to build a mosfet model like level 1 from the existing foundry models that you use to design, to give to someone else to simulate a circuit that you have designed due to ndas.

How can we do this? Do we have to calculate the level one parameters using the equation, do we have to simulate and extract that information for several W/L? What's the best approach?

It will get a crutch, I'd say. Depends very much on required compatibility|accuracy|reliability.

Try and assign the needed level 1 parameters as good as you can extract them from the higher level models.

May be this can be helpful: View attachment SPICE_LEVEL_1_MOSFET_MODEL.pdf
