characteristic impedance(Zo)
of a microstrip line depends on:
Substrate height (H)
Dielectric constant of the substrate (εr)
Width of the trace (W)
Thickness of the RF trace (T)
1. Increasing W decreases Zo. 2. Increasing H increases Zo. 3. Increasing t decreases Zo, although it has small effect on Zo.
