Hi everyone,

I'm currently working with this Flash memory: @99AMD L320DT 90VI connected to virtex-4 which is connected to Atmel: Atmega128l

I have failed to access Atmel over ICSP using iMPACT 14.7. Therfore, the console gives me errore such as: Cable autodetection is failed.

How to solve the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Show us a schematic about the connections.

Klaus

Hi Klaus,

The below figure shows roughly the block diagram of connections.

Hi

JTAG and "IMPACT" is not connected?
JTAG usually has TDO, TDI, TCK, TMS and maybe TRST...

I know that impact can talk "JTAG", but are you sure it can AVR_ISP?
Why didn't you use the AVR JTAG feature?
