Feedback speed andlog + digital conntrol.
n the picture is any Synchronous Buck DC-DC Controller With Wide Duty Cycle working on 250kHz which has a voltage analogue FB which can be digitally affected by DAC,
If DAC=0V is Vout for example 25V , if DAC is 2,5V is Vout 0V.
It works reliably.
MCU control over ADC voltage Vout and current IOut.
I have a question.
it could control the output current?
ADC is 12bit 5MSPS
DAC is 12bit 1MSPS
MCU is 32bit 72MHz
PS is 0-30V and 0-30A
Time for read current 200ns
Time for MCU 700ns
Time for seting DAC 1000ns
Time for slew + reserve 600ns
Total 2.5us
Time of one period 250kHz 4.0us
In other words, digital feed back have min one control hit over the period
Is it possible to control FB of PS over the MCU so that the output current is 2A?
