Tayloe detector variants
Is there any disadvantage in the way the Tayloe detector is implemented in SoftRock type receivers? Because there the 4:1 mux (FST3253) is connected in a reverse way comparing with the classic detector described in the original Dan Tayloe's paper. Most I/Q receiver (like SDR1000, FLEX-1500 ...) use 2 differential amplifiers to sum the 4 outputs from detector. Meanwhile SofRock detector has 4 inputs and 2 outputs ...
