Hello,

I'm designing a snubber for my flyback power supply working in DCM. I'm using UCC289100 which is based on primary sensing regulation the FET integrated in the IC is rated for 700V.

I can see in the literature that there are many variants for snubbers:

variant #1: TVS with a fast diode and a resistor
variant #2: RCD circuit
variant #3: TVS + RCD

How should i choose a variant?

Thank you
