Hi all...
i want to design a small SMPS using TNY268 IC and ferrite core transformer. i have got the circuit diagram from google(attached herewith).
can anybody let me know if the circuit provided is correct or not. or i need to add any additional components.
input is around 220v AC and output i need is around 5v 1.5Amps.
The input primary winding consists of around 140 turns of 36 SWG, while the output secondary winding is made up of 8 turns of 27SWG super enameled copper wire turns.
The core used is a small E19 type ferrite core with bobbin having a central core area section measuring 4.5 by 4.5mm.

Hi,

as an experienced electronics designer you should know:
* Don´t trust all google informations
* Trust the datasheet. I recommend to download it always directely from the manufacturer to get the latest version.

The datasheet usually contains all necessary informations to build a circuit.

On the manufacturer´s internet pages you may find addition informations like:
* application notes
* errata
* links to software
* simulation tools
and so on.
