Hello Friends

I am confusing to selection of Bridge Rectifier.

The Frond end of Bridge rectifier is Followed by PFC.

Now how to do the Bridge rectifier selections
a) Bridge rectifier power loss..??
b) Current flow through Bridge..??

Regards
Marx

Hi,

What line voltage, how many phases?

With a PF close to 1: I(RMS) = about P / (phasecount * lineVoltage)

Klaus

Line voltage:130-265vac
Line frequency:50hz

PF Close to 1

Operating voltage
Rated current
Operating frequency
Single phase or three phase
Power loss
Heat sink requirement

Rated current = 1200W/(Input voltage )
Generally engineers are considering 50% more current rated rectifier
