The two mosfers turning ON and OFF, therefore giving "average" resistance of -Rp

Could anyone elaborate more on this ?

Rp - 2/gm >= 0 or equivalently Rp >= |-2/gm| where |-k| = k , and k > 0

How to derive this start-up condition for oscillation ? Why with this above condition, the circuit has large swings ? Seems like it is opposite to **broken link removed**
