In application note of infenion's IC IRS2982S the wire size for transformer design is given as

Start - 11,12
End - 9,10
Wire size - 2 x triple φ0.45mm
Layers - 1/2 secondary

what does this means 2 x triple φ0.45mm and 1/2 secondary?

"Half secondary" should be similarly clear than half primary when looking at the schematic + transformer winding table. You should also have realized that there are two secondary windings connected in parallel which explains the "2x".

The text wrongly uses a lower case φ instead of a diameter sign.

I guess that "triple" refers to triple insulated enamelled wire.
