OPA power supply circuits ,from 34410A

as attach png file shows,,, it looks OPA power supply range extend to -4.7v -- +4.7v..... and it for no other purpose ????

I think it's rather +/- 4.1V.

and it for no other purpose ????
We can't see if it is used elsewhere, because you only show a snippet of the whole schematic.

The power supply is tracking the input voltage, keeping common mode voltage constant near to zero.

Increases input impedance and reduces gain error.
