Hi, I couldn't find anything about this so I doubt it's possible, but it's worth asking since it would really reduce computation time. Basically, I am using a mode converter in order to produce the desired excitation after it comes out of the port. If I could save the output from this converter, I wouldn't need to redo the whole conversion in all the future models that use this excitation. Is there any way this is possible?

Again, I'm not expecting much, but any advice would be good.

I am also not sure but I really doubt that such an option exists anyways. But you can configure default excitations in HFSS to force your mode of interest like by defining excitation vectors and by imposing certain boundary conditions as I am sure that you can excite your mode of interest using ports defined in HFSS

Yeah I found the ratio for the correct mode. Much easier and better results
