There are various applications of audio amplifiers
1. Home Audio System, Concert and theatrical sound reinforcement.
2. Instrument amplifier such as guitar amplifier, mobile radio and even in children's toys.
Some audio amplifiers have a real time analyser that has many LEDs to display the levels and frequencies that are playing. I could not find a good photo of the display.
