Hi everbody,
I want to find the maximum value of a periodic signal during a period and then reset at the end of period and repeat the previous step. I need this in simulink but I have problems. Does anybody know about this??

Re: find the maximum value of a signal during a period

Hi,

I don´t know how to do it in simulink.

For a real circuit I´d use an OPAMP pek detector circuit. With diode and capacitor. The capacitor shows the peak voltage.
But if you look at the OPAMP output, then you will find that:
* during "non_peaks" the output saturates close to the negative supply
* during "peaks" it shows the peak_voltage + diode_voltage.

A comparator could show you "peak" or "non peak" condition.
