Hello,

I am working on BLDC motor control using hall sensors. In my motor we are using 5 pole pairs. and how will be the speed formula or commutation frequency formula for it? In six step commutation, will the commutation angle be 60° everytime even if we use various number of pole pairs?
As I read some documents,I understand is 60°commutation angle*6 step commutation=360°(one full rotation),Is this correct? And at what angle hall sensors to be placed between the stator windings?
Can anyone please clarify my questions?:-| I will be very grateful to you.

Thanks!!!
