hello peeps

i constructed 24v 3kva modified sine wave inverter using SG3525, but my challenge is how to do a simple overload/short circuit protection that will work with pin 10 on SG3525...that is the AC output link, any idea guys?

am not good in circuit, just new, i wish you can explain more on how i will go about it, how to design and assemble it..

For 3Kva, a simple, "with emphasis on simple" overload circuit will involve latching. Otherwise something will be damaged very quickly.

You require:
1) A current transformer with a burden resistor.
2) A rectifier and smoothing circuit
3) A comparator, with some means of adjusting the threshold voltage.
4) A latch. Could be a CD40xx flip-flop.

any circuit diagram that can assist me to assemble?

If you're looking for a complete design, you're better off searching google.

If you have an existing design you are trying to modify, we can only really help you if you show us the schematics.
