804 smd instead of 805 resistor? Eagle PCB design

Hey
I am designing a circuit in Eagle.
I have bought a 804 resistor set but there is only 805 case in Eagle...
How is this possible? Is 804 case unused in most cases?
Will 804 smd resistor fit on 805 case pcb?
Thanks i nadvance

HI,

Show us the datasheet of the 804 resistor.

Is it 0804? Because it is an 0805 series of resistor. It's possible that you can just use the 0805 footprint in your PCB - you can even place an 0603 resistor on an 0805 footprint, if you have to.

Please take a look.

I have those resistors (a lot of values, 0804 case):

And in Eagle I have only that (0805 case):

I will order 10 pcbs from manufacturer, so I'd prefer to have no resistor case problems...

Read the data sheet, that footprint is not even close... To be honest you need to sit down and look more closely at what you are ordering...

Ah you are right, I have confused the resistor array with single resistor. Thank you, now it's clear.
