wireless data collection from multiple device

Hi all,
we are trying to make device which is used to measure some parameters and will plot it on the PC.The device used to transfer the data through wifi. Their are 5-10 device wants to establish the connection to the PC.The data rate is about 1Mbps for each device.

Is it possible to use a wifi module as AP? and transfer the data through USB to PC or LAN
Please guide me to solve the problem.
