How can you use different filters in Matlab associated with a peak detection function, to obtain peaks within a 0.1% precision range? If you have a specific function thank you in advance.
 

Human respiration rate lies within the limits of approximatelly 10 to 50 BPM's. I wonder from where did you took the specification of the need to obtain a 0,1% resolution, particularly because many respiratory syndromes are characterized by significant variations of this rate in short intervals.
