I'm trying to build 192x24 dot matrix disply,I use atmega8 and AVR codevision compiler.
the following is not the main program,but my problem in this simple code is the same.
I have three matrix for three images and one buffering matrix.

Hi,

Atmega8 has 512 bytes if SRAM only.
Impossible to get the complete image into the SRAM.

Try to read and process it in pieces, maybe byte by byte, or in packages of 8bytes for example.
