Hello all,

I use command "placeInstance" to place some instances in the core and route them manually since I want a certain routing pattern, then I run the automatic routing to place and route the rest of the design keeping my previous instances and routed wires as fixed. But I find that SoC Encounter ignores all pins connected to the pre-routed wires (the ones I manually routed and assigned to be fixed before automatic routing), so how to let the tool not ignore those pins in routing ?

I want my manually placed instances and manually routed wires to remain fixed, the rest of the design be automatically routed accordingly without ignoring any pins. How to do that ?

Thanks
