Hi,

Though I am not into micro-controllers a lot, I will still risk asking the question: are there any micro-controller vendor specific or third party tools which support inputting graphical FSMs which can then be converted into C/assembly language and used to program micro-controller? If so, pls. name a few, for say, 8051/AVR.

Thanks,

Google for "state machine design tool". Many hits. Presume most of them being able to generate generic C code.

OK.. thanks. Just one more query.... what is the difference between state machines and finite state machines?

Thanks.
