dear all

i have implemented the qpsk modulator (active double balanced gilbert cell) and demodulator (passive). I want to check the conversion gain of the modulator and want to know about harmonic balance setup preparation in cadence. if you can guide me through any good link for literature survey, i Will be thankful. i tried for a good source but not find yet.

IQ Modulation design is very similar to classical Double Balanced Mixer.The only difference is that one side-band and oscillator carrier disappear at the output.
Cadence SpectreRF help has very informal about it.( PDF files are included )
