dear all I have a board of Lock-in Amplifier.
I am testing this circuit.
I need to know is that what is "Time constant" and "Sensitivity"
in Lock-in Amplifier.
How it effects the performance.
What are the expected values for testing.
My signal frequency is 12KHz.
Ref signal Amplitude is 6Vpp.

Hi,

time constant is "R x C". As usual.

***
For the rest:
Give detailed informations, like schematic, signal waveforms, what electrical information are you interested in...
What exactely do you mean with "sensitivity"?
What item of performance are you interested in?

Klaus

I have an old module having no number on it.
There are potentiometers on it named as sensitivity (its amplifier gain setting via variable resistor).
the other one is Time Constant (its filter variable resistor).
My questions is what are the effects of these parameters on test signal.

Hi,

Gain setting should be clear: it adjusts the output level

Time constant:
It is a compromise between useful signal frequency (the information you are interested in) and the LIA switching frequency.
