Hello! Can someone point me to some detailed matlab tutorials that can help me with my assignment? Or a few explanations would be much appreciated.

Code:
IIR filter Butterworth method
Fpas s=9kHz, Fstop=11kHz, Apass=1dB, Astop=25dB and Fs=40kHz

Code:
IIR filter analog prototype
H(s)= 0.0979/(1*s^5+2.0333*s^4+2.0671*s^3+1.2988*s^2+0.5044*s^1+0.0979) and Fs=1Hz
