Hi guys,
I've got a quick question about PCB layout. I have a row of film Capacitors that need 1.7mm clearance between the two terminals (which is fine because of the size of caps I'm using) but do the casing of the caps have to be kept 1.7mm apart or can you align them a close as possible side by side. Is there any information on this in terms of safety standards?

Hi,

SMD? THM? What package?
Voltage?
Functional isolation or safety isolation?

Klaus
