Hi guys,

I'm looking for a MOSFET that has the same characteristics as the BSS84 but in a bigger footprint.

The BSS84 i'm using is really small ( SOT-23 ) and hard to solder for me.

I'm using this mosfet to control the power supply of an SD card.

Thanks

All major manufacturers have selection tools to find suitable transistors out of their portfolio.

I don't believe that you specifically need a 50 V PMOSFET to switch a 3.3V SD card supply. Any logic level PMOSFET with Rdson < 15 ohm will probably work.

Thank you for your answer.
I'm kinda lost, i'm not familiar with all the footprints (i'm an embedded software developer). I was wondering if someone can recommand a reference that suits my need.

Thank you

You didn't tell which footprint would be convenient enough for your solder methods. Could be e.g. through-plated TO92, SMD SOT-89, SO-8 or D-PAK.

TO92 would work for me.

thx
